Navigating employee engagement metrics

I’ve been looking into how different companies track employee engagement throughout the customer lifecycle. It’s fascinating how some focus on qualitative feedback while others lean heavily on quantitative metrics. I’d love to hear how your teams measure success in this area and what tools you find most effective.

We’ve had success using pulse surveys for qualitative feedback, especially mid-customer lifecycle. I find it’s crucial to balance both types of metrics for a clearer picture. What tools have you found helpful for gathering that feedback?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‌

I’ve found that using a mix of both weekly check-ins and quarterly reviews keeps the engagement data fresh. @johndoe, have you considered using sentiment analysis on feedback?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‌‌

Tracking engagement can definitely be tricky; I get so frustrated when we focus on just one side of the metrics. Last quarter, we introduced a new feedback tool that canvassed qualitative insights during user interviews, and it really opened up our understanding of employee sentiment. Balance is key, though — too much emphasis on one might skew our data, @nancyq01.
